Job Summary:
The Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the logistics operations within the organization. This includes coordinating and optimizing transportation, warehousing, and inventory management activities to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery of goods and services. The Logistics Manager will work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and distribution partners to meet customer demands and achieve set business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement logistics strategies, policies, and procedures to streamline operations and improve overall efficiency.
2. Plan, organize, and coordinate transportation activities, including carrier selection, routing, and scheduling, to ensure timely delivery of goods.
3. Manage and optimize warehouse operations, including inventory control, storage, and order fulfillment.
4. Collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand, plan inventory levels, and manage stock replenishment to avoid shortages or excesses.
5. Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
6. Evaluate the performance of suppliers, carriers, and distribution partners to ensure compliance with contractual agreements and service level expectations.
7. Negotiate and manage contracts with logistics service providers to secure competitive rates and maintain high service quality.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Proven experience of at least 5 years in logistics management, preferably within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
3. Strong understanding of logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
4. Proficient in using transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), and other relevant logistics software.
